Radio Journalism Training Established

The School's first course in radio news was offered in cooperation with the Columbia Missourian, the United Press Association and KFRU, the local studio for the St. Louis Star-Times. Students broadcasted general news via the United Press and local news briefs at 10 a.m., noon and 3 p.m.


Max Cole, BJ '37, worked at KFRU right after graduation. His paycheck from April 15, 1937, totaled 99 cents.
