Kappa Alpha Mu Founded
|
Professor Cliff Edom founded Kappa Alpha Mu, an honor society for photojournalism students striving to better photographic standards. The organization began with 27 local members and then became a national honor fraternity with assistance from the National Press Photographers Association.
The Missouri Kappa Alpha Mu chapter, shown here throughout the late 1940s and early 1950s, stayed active under Cliff Edom's leadership.
