KOMU-TV Received Updates
|
KOMU began broadcasting with new color cameras, and new radio-equipped control units helped the station cover more local news and lengthen its newscast to one hour. Other new equipment included a new sound camera and a color film processor that made it possible to telecast a news story in color less than one hour after receiving film at the station.
Broadcast students worked in the KOMU studio (top and center left) and in the field covering stories (bottom right) to help produce longer newscasts that were in "RCA Color" (bottom).
