State Government Reporting Program Founded


The State Government Reporting Program in Jefferson City gave students hands-on work covering state politics for the Columbia Missourian, KBIA radio and KOMU-TV.

Missouri Journalism students have continually reported from the state capitol building in Jefferson City since 1972.
