IRE Established Headquarters at Missouri

Investigative Reporters and Editors established its headquarters at the Missouri School of Journalism. John Ullmann, a doctoral candidate at the School, became IRE's first executive director. IRE was formed in 1975 to promote investigative reporting ideas, techniques and sources.
