Top Journalism Organizations Located at Missouri

In 2002 the National Newspaper Association moved its headquarters to the School. In 2005 the Freedom of Information Center, established at Missouri in 1959 as part of the School's 50th anniversary celebration, received a $1.7 million grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation to establish a new home for the National Freedom of Information Coalition at the School. Also in 2005 officials at the Association of Health Care Journalists and Center for Excellence in Health Care Journalism moved their headquarters to Missouri from the University of Minnesota.
