School Celebrated Centennial; Reynolds Journalism Institute Dedicated

From Sept. 10-12, the Missouri School of Journalism held a joint celebration for its centennial and the dedication of the Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute. Approximately 2,500 guests registered for the celebration, which included 35 Futures Forum sessions on industry hot topics; 27 Technology Summit sessions featuring cutting-edge communication technologies; two meal events attended by 1,700 people; two major evening performances; and many more exhibits, displays and reunions.

The School's 2008 centennial/dedication event featured a performance of "Freedom Sings," hosted by Ken Paulson, BJ '75 (top), and a President's Roundtable with UM System President Gary Forsee and corporate leaders, journalists and strategic communicators (bottom).
