Williams Named MPA President
|
Walter Williams, editor of the Boonville Advertiser, became the youngest president of the Missouri Press Association at age 25. Later that year he became editor of E.W. Stephens' Columbia (Mo.) Herald, which Williams turned into "America's model weekly," according to the trade press.
