Interview Opportunity: Myles Brand
NCAA President to Participate in Missouri Journalism Centennial and Dedication Celebration

- WHAT: Myles Brand, president of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), will participate in the session, "Technology and New Media: Reshaping the Future of Sports, Journalism and Advocacy" that will be held during the Sept. 11 Futures Forum, a keynote event of the Sept. 10-12 Missouri School of Journalism Centennial and Reynolds Journalism Institute Dedication Celebration. Note: Brand will be available for interviews from 1:15-1:45 p.m. in 105 Neff Hall.
- WHO: Participants must register for the Futures Forum to attend the session. To register, please visit http://journalism.missouri.edu/2008/register.html.
- WHERE: 204 Neff Hall Auditorium, School of Journalism, MU campus.
- WHEN: Part One, 2-3:15 p.m.; Part Two, 3:45-5 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 11.
- NOTE: Others who will participate with Brand in the discussion will be Mike Alden, MU athletic director; John Anderson, anchor for ESPN's SportsCenter; T.J. Quinn, investigative reporter for ESPN; Phil Bradley, special assistant to the director of the Major League Baseball's Players Association; Jamie Butcher, vice president for sponsorships at AT&T; and Wright Thompson, writer for ESPN The Magazine.
