Ambassador Training

Your first semester will be spent shadowing current ambassadors and preparing for the kinds of questions and situations you might face. You'll help train new ambassadors in subsequent semesters. All ambassadors receive a handbook as part of their orientation and will receive a T-shirt, name badge and business cards the first semester as an active ambassador.

You will receive $10 for every hour worked as an active ambassador. This total is paid at the end of each semester and is deposited into your student account. If you don't owe student charges you will receive the full amount of your stipend.

How to Apply

If you're interested in being a Journalism Ambassador, please fill out an application. Forms are available in 120 Neff Hall and also available as a downloadable PDF. Deadline for applications is January 30; no exceptions. Please turn in to Billie Dukes in 120 Neff Hall. Interviews will be held the following week. An interview schedule will be posted in 120 Neff for sign up; date and location to be determined. All eligible applicants will receive this information via e-mail.
