What do you do?
I am a morning reporter and noon anchor for KVBC, the NBC affiliate in Las Vegas.

How did you get your job?
I sent a tape to the news director.

What is the best professional lesson you learned at the J-School?
How to turn a story on a daily deadline.

What advice do you have for current students?
Take advantage of all your time at KOMU. Learn all you can. I wish I'd learned to produce as well as shoot, edit and report.

What is your favorite J-School memory?
I have so many. Mike Hoeferlin, who used to run the career center, introduced me to my future husband. I'll always remember that day!
