ERIC BLUMBERG served as the Sports Director at KJAC-TV in Beaumont, Texas. While there he won a Best Series Award from the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters for a series that followed a Blue Chip high school football recruit through the recruiting process. After returning to mid-Missouri, Blumberg rejoined KOMU-TV as a reporter/anchor in the Sports Department and as an adjunct faculty member teaching Radio-TV Journalism students. He anchors sports at least once a week, including the Halftime Highlights on the Tigervision football and basketball stadium broadcasts. Blumberg is also the lead reporter for "This Week in Mizzou Football with Gary Pinkel" and "Mizzou Basketball with Quin Snyder". He has covered everything from the Super Bowl, to the World Series, to the Daytona 500, but considers telling a good story about a local athlete the best part of his job.
Blumberg and his wife Sheri, a native of Jefferson City, have one daughter.
