Neff Hall, constructed in 1919 and dedicated on Sept. 1, 1920, is the first journalism building at the Missouri School of Journalism. Exactly 85 years later, on Sept. 1, 2005, the J-School broke ground on the Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute, the state-of-the-art research and technology center that will improve the practice and understanding of journalism in democratic societies.
