Old Academic Hall was the first classroom building on the MU campus. After the building was destroyed by fire in 1892, all that remained were the Columns. Those Columns were preserved and have become the focal point of Francis Quadrangle at Mizzou. They are the third most photographed landmark in the state of Missouri.
