The Washington Hand Press is a symbol of the historic roots of the Missouri School of Journalism. First produced in 1821, this type of press was used to print newspapers. Modern presses for the Columbia Missourian are located in the Neff Hall Annex, one of five (soon to be seven) journalism buildings.
