Nov. 14, 2008: New York Alumni to Host a Discussion on the Next Century of Journalism New York alumni and guests can meet with friends and network while participating in an interactive discussion about the next century of journalism during an upcoming event. Seven New York-area alumni will lead a discussion about journalism for a digital globe. Nov. 19, 2008: Ornaments Depicting the Missouri School of Journalism and Reynolds Journalism Institute Will Decorate the 2008 Missouri State Tree in Washington, D.C. The 2008 Missouri State Tree in the Pathway of Peace will be adorned with official ornaments depicting the Missouri School of Journalism, the world's first, founded in 1908, and the Donald W. Nov. 25, 2008: Missouri Journalism Student, Alumnus Win Awards in Society of Environmental Journalists' National Contest Two graduate students from the Missouri School of Journalism - one former and one current - won first and third place in the student category of the Society of Environmental Journalists' national awards contest. Nov. 25, 2008: Associate Professor Stephanie Craft Receives Kappa Tau Alpha Chapter Adviser Grant Stephanie Craft, associate professor at the Missouri School of Journalism, has been awarded a Kappa Tau Alpha Chapter Adviser Research Grant in the amount of $750. She is the first Missouri chapter adviser to receive one of the grants. [More]
