Adding courses or changing sections of courses may be done during the first week of the semester. If a student has no registration holds they may add/drop using myZou. No course, other than Problems, Readings or Research, may be added after the expiration of one week of classes in a fall or spring semester or the equivalent thereof in a shorter session.
If a student drops a class after the 25th day of the fall or spring semester or an equivalent period of time in a summer session, a course withdrawal form is required.
If a student is registered for only one course and petitions to drop that course, the student is considered to have withdrawn from the University for that semester. A notice of withdrawal form must be used for this purpose.
