Doctoral Application: International

Doctoral Application: International

International applicants are required to complete the Affidavit of Support to be officially admitted to the MU Graduate School. This form includes information concerning estimated expenses. Students admitted to the Missouri School of Journalism doctoral program traditionally receive a level of funding that waives the requirement to complete the Affidavit of Support.

Applicants from countries where English is not the native language must take either the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) given by the Educational Testing Service; or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). The test should be taken three to six months before the application deadline for the semester in which the student expects to enroll. The TOEFL Department Code is 18, Institution Code is 6875.
