JOURN 9085 Problems

JOURN 9085 Problems

Students enrolled in JOURN 9085 Problems are expected to work on a specific scholarly research problem that is not associated with the dissertation. The topic for the JOURN 9085 problem must be arranged with a supervisor before class registration. JOURN 9085 may not be taken in lieu of work performed by a student assistant or in place of a regularly scheduled class. A maximum of four credit hours may be earned through the course. The hours may be divided over several sessions. Before a permission number will be issued for registration, a student must obtain approval for the problem from an adviser, from the supervising faculty member and from the associate dean of graduate studies. The academic adviser will then assign the permission number. Forms are available in the graduate studies center.
