International Student Admissions

An additional criterion for consideration for new and transfer students whose primary language is not English includes minimum standardized test scores on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). English-language proficiency – both written and oral – is basic to the work of journalists and strategic communicators. Students who meet the minimum English language criteria are initially admitted directly to the Missouri School of Journalism. Students who do not meet the minimum criteria for direct admission are admitted as pre-journalism majors. [More]
