NATHAN ESTEP is the design editor of the Columbia Missourian and an assistant professor on the print and digital news faculty. Before joining the Missouri School of Journalism in 2011, Estep was the deputy art director of The National newspaper in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. There, he helped design, develop and launch the UAE’s first national English-language daily and pioneered as one of the first adjunct journalism professors at Zayed University. Estep received his Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Miami and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
