The five officers will focus on rebuilding its membership this year because most of the previous members graduated in May, according to Will Guldin, SSND president.

“This is a tough situation for any organization, but SSND saw this change as an opportunity to reinvent itself for a new group of students,” he said.

The next SSND meeting will focus on the fundamentals of good design through the use of photography. The recent redesigns of USA Today and the Columbus Dispatch to a “tall tab” format from a traditional broadsheet will serve as case studies. The meeting is at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 2, in room 110 of Lee Hills Hall.

Those interested in getting involved with the club should contact Guldin. There are no membership dues. Erica Mendez Babcock serves as the faculty adviser.
