The online master‘s program requires a minimum of 37 graduate credits. Fees for this program are approximately $500 per graduate credit hour.
All students are required to take JOURN 8000 Mass Media Seminar and JOURN 8006 Quantitative Research Methods or JOURN 8008 Qualitative Research Methods. Students also choose one of the following courses: JOURN 7000 Communications Law or JOURN 8080 Media Ethics. At least once during the course of the program, online students are required to attend a three-day weekend session associated with JOURN 8070 Proseminar in Communication. Students are required to complete the capstone section of the model they have chosen. At least half of the program must be at the 8000 level.
