Missouri School of Journalism undergraduate advisers collaborate with students to facilitate academic, social and personal growth during their pursuit of the Bachelor of Journalism degree. The relationship between an adviser and the student is a partnership in navigating the university environment, finding available resources, selecting suitable courses and planning for achievable outcomes. Our approach empowers students to gradually assume increased ownership for their life direction with an appreciation of the individual differences of each student.
Undergraduate advising is designed to help students make the most of their experience at the Missouri School of Journalism and the University of Missouri.
