Linda Deutsch, an Associated Press special correspondent and graduate of Monmouth college, is considered to be one of the nation’s best legal reporters. She covered the trials of Sirhan Sirhan, Charles Manson, Patricia Hearst, John DeLorean and Exxon Valdez Capt. Joseph Hazelwood. More recently, she covered the trials of William Kennedy Smith and the four Los Angeles police officers in the Rodney King case.
