What do you do?
I am a marketing manager for Cricket Communications. I joined the company to launch the St. Louis market, which was completed in 2008. I continue to build the Cricket brand via public relations, key corporate partnerships, mass media and community outreach efforts.
How did you get your job?
I applied for the position online and received a call-back very quickly.
What is the best professional lesson you learned at the J-School?
Always remain professional. Be on time. Work smart. Be prepared for whatever comes your way.
What advice do you have for current students?
Soak up all the knowledge you can in school, and stay in touch with the professors you most respect.
What is your favorite J-School memory?
My favorite project was my real-client project for HMS Host. They flew us to Washington, D.C., to present our final work. It was a great experience.
