Degree(s): BJ '82
What do you do?
I’m a financial adviser with Edward Jones.
What advice do you have for current students?
Follow your dreams and passion.
What is your favorite J-School memory?
Covering the basketball Tigers for the Missourian as one of two beat writers (with Tom Friend, who has gone on to a successful career at espn.com) during the 1981-82 season when Missouri reached #1 in the national polls.
Any parting comments?
After receiving my journalism degree I worked for small-town newspapers for two years before embarking on a career in financial services. Though I left the journalism field, I am very proud to be associated with the Missouri School of Journalism and to have met, worked with and continue to admire the great people who have come through the school and have achieved so much in the journalism field.
