How did you get your first job?
I sent my resume to a select group of advertising agencies in the Lansing, Mich., area, went on several interviews, and was offered a number of positions. I chose the one that most suited me. The Foresight Group is a smaller company, but I gained valuable experience.

What makes you good at your job?
I’m good at my job for the simple reason that I am very organized. Because I have to meet deadlines and assist a variety of people, time management and organizational skills are critical. People also tell me that I am personable and easy to work with.

What is something about you that might surprise people?
I am naturally very shy.

What did you want to be when you were a kid?
I wanted to be the person who came up with all the creative ideas you see on TV commercials and in magazines. Someone like a graphic designer.
