Instructor of telecommunications and journalism at Ball State University in Muncie, Ind.
How did you get your job?
Worked in local and network TV since graduation. Then, I heard the call to give back by training tomorrow’s journalists.
What is the best professional lesson you learned at the J-School?
How to work well with others under intense deadline pressure.
What advice do you have for current students?
Learn all you can while at Mizzou. Get involved in as many activities as possible, both in the journalism field and outside of it.
What is your favorite J-School memory?
The first time reporting the lead story on KOMU.
