Angela Jackson, BJ ’97, has been named Managing Partner, Future of Work, by New Profit.
To kick off the new year, the Boston-based venture philanthropy firm New Profit announced Dr. Angela Jackson has been promoted to Managing Partner, Future of Work. In this role, Dr. Jackson leads New Profit’s global fund to invest in entrepreneurs and companies developing innovative technical solutions to upskill low-income and entry-level workers at scale. Most recently, she launched the $6 million Future of Work Grand Challenge, powered by XPRIZE, MIT Solve and JFF, to surface and invest in technologies with the goal of rapidly reskill 25,000 displaced workers into living-wage jobs and create a future of work that works for everyone. In her new role, she is raising the $20M Inclusive Impact Fund that backs visionaries building an equitable Future of Work
