Anne E. Schwartz, BJ ’82
Anne E. Schwartz, BJ ’82, has been selected to the Wisconsin Leadership Board of the American Cancer Society. Schwartz, a Milwaukee communicator and teacher, will join 21 other volunteer leaders in advancing the Society’s lifesaving mission in Wisconsin. Bilingual in Spanish and English, she is a founding member of the Public Affairs Committee for the Major Cities Chiefs organization, a committee formed to advise the country’s major city Police Chiefs on public affairs issues. Schwartz also served as a commissioner on the Milwaukee Commission on Police Community Relations. At the invitation of the NAACP in 2013, she joined the Felmers Chaney Correctional Center Community Advisory Board. She is an adjunct faculty member teaching executive messaging and strategic communication for public safety professionals at the Waukesha County Technical College in Waukesha, Wis. and the University of New Haven Center for Advanced Policing in New Haven, Connecticut, and continues to provide training for the state’s law enforcement through the Wisconsin Department of Justice.
