Bradley A. Martin, BJ ’78, is in his 28th year as editor of the weekly Hickman County Times in Centerville, Tenn. He has won reporting and writing awards at the local, state, national and international levels, most recently a first place for Editorials in the 2013 University of Tennessee-Tennessee Press Association press contests. Martin is a five-time president of the local Hickman County Chamber of Commerce, chair of the Business-Education Council, chair of Historic Downtown Centerville and co-chair of Regional Economic Vibrancy, an eight-county broadband improvement group. He and wife Alice have been married 30 years and raised two children. Martin plans to attend the International Society of Weekly Newspaper Editors conference in Columbia, Mo., in summer 2015.
