A new book photographed by Brian Smith, BJ ’81, features celebrities from film, music and television as a way to raise awareness of the arts in America. “ART & SOUL: Stars Unite to Celebrate and Support the Arts” includes 123 portraits accompanied by inspiring handwritten stories from the world’s most beloved and legendary actors, actresses, comedians and musicians. Celebrities featured in the book include Anne Hathaway, Kerry Washington, Patricia Arquette, Adrien Brody, Alyssa Milano, Adrian Grenier, Taraji P. Henson, Tony Bennett, Amanda Peet, Kelsey Grammer, Paula Abdul, Tim Daly, Taye Diggs, Samuel L. Jackson and many others. Smith collaborated with the Creative Coalition’s arts advocacy program and editor Robin Bronk on the book.
