Carolyn Callison Murray, BJ ’76, has been promoted to editor and vice president for news at The Sun News in Myrtle Beach, N.C., having served as an editor for more than 10 years. After graduation she started as a reporter and photographer in St. Joseph, Mo., and held a variety of reporting and editing positions including at the St. Louis Globe-Democrat, The Associated Press’ Los Angeles bureau, the St. Louis Sun and the Charlotte Observer. Murray has won a number of professional awards and honors during her career.
