Charlotte Frances Mills, MA ’62, died April 22, 2017, in Tidewater, Oregon. A champion of the environment and women’s rights, her career highlights included teaching at the University of Oregon and serving as editor of the Valley News as well as owner and publisher of Northwest Matrix-Bookmakers in Eugene. Mills published more than 60 books before her retirement.
