Claudia Fernandes

For Claudia Fernandes, communication has never been confined by geography. It has been the connecting thread across cultures, industries, and transformation throughout her career.

After earning her Master’s degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism, Claudia built an international career spanning Brazil and Chile, working with global advertising networks and multinational brands. These cross-border experiences shaped her perspective on diversity, consumer behavior, and the universal power of storytelling.

Her trajectory took a defining turn at Azul Brazilian Airlines, where she served as Chief Marketing & Communications Officer. Claudia helped guide the company’s evolution from an ambitious startup into a publicly traded global brand, contributing to Azul’s IPO on both B3 and the NYSE. She led multidisciplinary teams across marketing, branding, culture, communications, and e-commerce, while driving digital transformation initiatives that strengthened both customer experience and organizational culture. Azul would later be recognized as the World’s Best Airline by TripAdvisor.

Today, Claudia leads Radar Consult, advising organizations on marketing strategy, communications, growth, leadership, and crisis management. She is also a business partner and co-founder of LÉIA, a Generative AI-powered communications training platform licensed from the United States and deployed in Brazil — reflecting her ongoing commitment to innovation and the evolving intersection of technology and human communication.

Across countries and business models, Claudia’s journey reflects a consistent belief: communication is most powerful when it embraces change, bridges disciplines, and amplifies new voices.
