Diana Dawson was awarded the Moody College Teaching Excellence Award for 2022 at the University of Texas. Dawson began teaching news writing, reporting and feature writing after two decades as an award-winning newspaper journalist. The teaching award is based on nominations and letters of recommendation from Dawson’s students over the last 20 years.
