Ellen Jaffe Jones, BJ ’76, was named the 2014 “PETA’s Sexiest Vegan Over 50” for her work in animal rights and trying to improve human and global health. She earned six Gold Medals in the 2014 Florida State Senior Games, ranking first in her age group in every event she qualified for at the local level: the 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1500 meters. Jones also achieved a national ranking at the U.S. National Senior Games in 2013 and is still 7th in the U.S. women 60-64 in the 1500 meters and 10th in the 400M. She has written two new books, “Kitchen Divided: Vegan Dishes for Semi-Vegan Households” and “Paleo Vegan: Plant-Based Primal Recipes,” which was listed on Amazon’s 2014 top 30 “Hot New Releases” in all cookbooks.
