John Kurzweil, MA ’78, died two weeks after his 58th birthday on Nov. 9, 2010, after a three-year battle with amyloidosis. During the last few months of his life, he was planning but could not complete a 20th anniversary celebration of California Political Review, the magazine of his California Public Policy Foundation. His legacy continues on what is now CAPoliticalReview.com. After his death, Kurzweil was honored in the Congressional Record by Rep. Tom McClintick (R-California) for his work.
