Mary Ann McCauley, BJ ’69, president of Catalyst Communications Inc. in Chanhassen, Minn., has been named an IABC Fellow by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). The highest honor the association bestows on a member, the IABC Fellow designation is awarded to communication professionals for exceptional leadership and service to IABC. McCauley founded her agency in 1987. Previously she served in management positions with United Technologies Communications Company, Centerre Bancorporation, The American Nurses Association and Hallmark Cards. Prior to her corporate and consulting work, McCauley was a journalist for an Iowa daily newspaper and owned and operated a community newspaper in southeastern Kansas.
