Paul Keep, MA ’83, marked his 30th year in journalism on June 6. He has worked at five newspapers in Michigan (all part of Advance Publications) since obtaining his master’s degree. Keep was the top editor at four of those newspapers. He is now the director of print for MLive Media Group, which is based in Grand Rapids, Mich. Keep and his team of journalists produce the pages for eight newspapers in the state: annarbor.com, The Bay City Times, The Flint Journal, The Grand Rapids Press, The Jackson Citizen Patriot, Kalamazoo Gazette, The Muskegon Chronicle and The Saginaw News. Each has a total Sunday circulation of more than 400,000.
