Sam Montague, BJ ’36
Sam Montague, BJ ’36, died May 13, 2015, just shy of his 103rd birthday. He was a photographer, public relations practitioner and fundraiser during his career. Montague was a member of the Reveille Seven, a group of journalism students expelled from Louisiana State University who completed their education at the Missouri School of Journalism. The students were expelled for refusing to allow Sen. Huey Long to censor their newspaper because of a letter that was critical of Long.
