Adam Dietrich
Alumni Coordinator
As the Murray Center’s first Alumni Coordinator, Adam Dietrich organizes the annual Murray Center Alumni Conference, develops festival strategy for Murray Center students’ films, and connects current students to alumni mentors to support early career development, coaching, and job placement.
Alongside his academic contributions, Dietrich is the co-owner of Tree Fort Films in New York City, where he has managed a diverse range of projects — from documentaries to ads and social content. His film credits include producing and co-directing Concerned Student 1950, which premiered at the 2016 True/False Film Fest, and multiple award-winning projects showcased at prestigious festivals worldwide.
Dietrich earned his BJ in 2017 from the Missouri School of Journalism, where he graduated as a member of the first class to study at the Jonathan B. Murray Center for Documentary Journalism. He also earned minors in film and sociology and a certificate in multicultural studies.
