Ben Sauro is an executive assistant in the Missouri School of Journalism.  Prior to joining the School in October 2023, Sauro spent seven years as an executive assistant and office support associate in the Departments of Nutrition and Exercise Physiology, and Food Science where he provided support to the department chair, graduate students and faculty.

Sauro has been with the University of Missouri since October 2010 and has worked at the Missouri Orthopedic Institute, The Student Services Office in the College of Human Environmental Sciences, and most recently The College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. 

Sauro earned his B.S. in Business Management from Oklahoma State University in 2005.  

Sauro has been married to his wife for more than 10 years, and together, they enjoy listening to music, going to concerts, cheering on their favorite sports teams and traveling all over the world.
