Catey Heller Terry  is the outreach director for the Novak Leadership Institute (NLI). At NLI, she is responsible for identifying, promoting and maintaining relationships with leadership partners both external and internal to MU. This includes leadership programs at other universities, strategic communication agencies where our students may visit, work, or be mentored, service partners, Lead4Change and David Novak Leadership as well as entities within the UM System and at MU where leadership training can be of benefit. She is a communications and fund-raising professional with more than 25 years of experience in New York City, St. Louis, and Columbia.

Terry previously served as director of development for the Missouri School of Journalism where she raised money for 7 of the school’s 10 endowed chairs. Prior to joining the start-up team at NLI, Terry served as Executive Director for Advancement Creative Services and Donor Relations at Mizzou. Terry received her B.A. from Skidmore College and a M.A. from the Missouri School of Journalism.
