Courtney Wampler serves as the Business Support Specialist II at the Missouri School of Journalism, where she provides administrative and operational support to faculty, staff, and students.

Originally from Springfield, Missouri, Courtney grew up working in her family’s business, TextBucks, an off-campus college bookstore that served generations of students. This early experience sparked her interest in education-focused service and laid the foundation for her career in business operations and marketing.

In August 2024, Courtney earned her bachelor of science degree in Marketing at Columbia College. Prior to joining the School, she held roles in restaurant management, retail management and store marketing where she developed strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills. 

Outside of work, she enjoys practicing yoga, hiking local trails and curling up with a good book. She is excited to be part of the Missouri School of Journalism community and looks forward to supporting its legacy of excellence.
