Gordon Dickson is an assistant professor at the University of Missouri School of Journalism and a news editor at the Columbia Missourian. He worked for 31 years as a news reporter and writer, including 24 years at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, where he specialized in stories about transportation and mobility, business trends, aviation, population and job growth and many investigative pieces. He also embraced multimedia journalism, including shooting many of his own videos for news stories and creating a podcast. In his free time, Gordon enjoys mountain biking, model railroading and long drives.
