Jacob Richey
KOMU Digital Content Editor
Jacob Richey is the Digital Content Editor at KOMU-TV. In this role, he oversees KOMU-TV’s digital content strategy and oversees publication of content to the station’s website, news app, social media and streaming platforms.
Jacob is a proud graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism. He earned his Bachelor of Journalism in 2024 with an emphasis in cross-platform editing and producing. During his time in the J-School, he worked for KOMU-TV, the Columbia Missourian, Vox Magazine and Missouri Business Alert, and he strives to promote collaboration across the Missouri News Network.
Jacob loves storytelling, and when he’s not in the newsroom, he’s usually practicing songwriting, papermaking, embroidery, surface design or a combination of the four.
