Jason Brasier

Jason Brasier serves as adjunct faculty for the School of Journalism. Jason has 17 years of experience in media production, including documentary film production, news producing, commercials, infomercials, films, short films, web series, and audio fiction podcasting. He served as a morning news TV director for 2.5 years at KOMU and now works in their creative department as a graphic designer and media producer. 

Brasier graduated from Missouri State University in 2009 with his Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media Production and screenwriters certification. From there, he worked in everything from corporate and infomercial production to his own clients and personal productions. 

Brasier lives in Jefferson City with his wife, Amber, and daughter, Summer. He enjoys writing, doing abstract art, and producing passion projects as time allows. Though his favorite pastime is spending time with family. You can find a lot of Jason’s work on YouTube and Apple Podcasts.
