Ki Jun Kang is a doctoral student at the Missouri School of Journalism, concentrating on media effects and how they shape public perceptions. He has a keen interest in the intricacies of message delivery, especially within health communication, and its capacity to elicit positive shifts in attitudes and perceptions.
Ki Jun earned his bachelor’s degree by double majoring in Healthcare Management and Media & Communication at Korea University. He further deepened his academic insights by obtaining a Master’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication from the same institution.
Before embarking on his doctoral journey, Ki Jun dedicated over six years as a journalist at MoneyToday, a prominent economic news outlet in South Korea. His coverage spanned various sectors, including industry, international affairs, and the stock market.
